Expect The Unexpected

One word for this: panic. Life flows quite well, when you find yourself from about 2 years of having a degree on Computer Science and you get invited to work on 2 different but very interesting projects. The problem here? Well, i can only pick one and i need a compatible schedule so i can still attend to my classes and go to work. The solution? I’m playing ping-pong with both projects and my mind (and probably my wallet too). The winner? I dunno, but as usual, i got up late from trying not to mix physics with my xbox last night.

Yet another not-that-productive day, i spent the rest of it checking out skype for Linux and OSX. Both worked flawlessly, with a very reasonable ichat-conference-call-like sound quality, except of that ratty sound skype made on my friend’s near-the-speakers-microphone ibook g4. Later we found out that using headphones would make that sound go away and did the first from-the-kitchen-while-cooking conference call! Horray for us geeks!
