Isight Powerbooks/Ibooks ?

This is not another pre-macworld-madness rumor.
It’s just my bet on what Steve will ‘offer us’ in the next gen laptops. Think about it, the inclusion of isight webcams on the new imac makes me believe that we’ll have them on laptops soon. The whole hype on the latest IM video software:

• libjingle
• that AOL AIM joint with Google Talk
• gaim-vv code merge into gaim
• ichat jabber support (although it doesn’t support video, i bet it will)
• skype video (only windows, temporary they say)
  

These have been feeding our tech-filled minds for a while, and being tech-hungry is something most of us geeks hate.

IM is important these days. How many people you know that won’t switch to Mac or Linux cause there’s no proper (or zero) IM support for webcams? I know some. Alot. Unlike in the US, here in Portugal (and maybe europe ?), the top IM network is certainly MSN Messenger: booting Windows cause you cant check Auntie’s MSN webcam out and wave “Hi Antie!” for 5 minutes really stinks.

So let’s wait for some Macworld food and hope it’ll taste even better.
